I tried to get in there once with my husband on a "guys" day. The security guard practically tackled me. guard: *tackle* Wait, lady, where you going. me: I'm with him *dramatically points with finger that has wedding band on it to husband who is standing on side* guard: you're a girl me: yes. guard: you can't go in me: I'm married guard: you're a girl me: *sensing where this is going* sigh. I'm not really sure what they were afraid of. I was with my HUSBAND. If that's not a chaperon, I dont know what is. You’re lucky you came there on a “guys” day.

And these are Israeli's!! Brooklyn really is special (well, not really with the first subway being in Cleveland, but w/e). About everyone seeming to be Jewish...well... 1/3 of NYC is Jewish :-). And if you really wanna see Jewish, go to Boro Park. Cuz like what Moshe said, seems like you're in the M/J area, Jews there are rude, but normal looking. Boro Park will be like a freak show :-).
